Alternative Solution - At the request of Profile (TT) Inc., Matteo Gilfillan & Associates Inc. (MGA) has prepared this correspondence for the proposed mixed-use building, also known as Textbook Towns, to be located at 3351-3359 Ellesmere Road in Toronto, Ontario, to address the following Ontario Building Code requirements: in-suite floor fire separation requirements (3.3.4.2.(3)), and exit exposure protection for the exterior exit pathways (3.2.3.13.(2)). This correspondence has been prepared with respect to the fire and life safety requirements in Part 3 of the 2012 Ontario Building Code (OBC, O.Reg. 332/12 as amended to O.Reg. 158/24) as well as the Alternative Solution Proposal requirements in Division C, Article 2.1.1.1 of the OBC.All measurements within this correspondence reference the architectural drawings dated September 29, 2024, prepared by SRN Architects Inc.
